The School offers two years training in Motor Mechanics Trade Course and in Automobile Training to students. The Institute is affiliated to the National Council of Training in Vocational trades (N.C.T.V.T.), Government of India. The Government of India gives 20 Narendrapur Samachar 2005 certificates to successful students who pass the Final Examination. The Institute bears the same standard as the Industrial Training Institute (I.T.I.) run by the Government so far as the above course is concerned. Training is also given in Motor Driving and the students get driving license after appearing at and passing the tests held by the State Government Licensing Authority, Alipore.
A special scheme for Motor Driving Training has been started (during 3 months) with effect from November 1990.
Increasing number of our ex-trainees are also being employed by a number of private and government establishments, apart from self-employment scheme.
During April 2004 - August 2005 there were 69trainees (35 in Motor Mechanics Trade course and 34 in Automobile Training Course) and Motor Driving Training was imparted to 91 candidates.
