Besides the individual Assembly Halls attached to different institutions, there is a Central Auditorium-Vivekananda Centenary Hall with a sitting capacity of nearly 2000. Cultural programmes, educative film-shows, dramas, musical programmes, quiz competitions, debates and symposia, elocution and recitation competition, etc. are held round the year to raise up the cultural level. Moreover, orators of reputation, University professors and educationists frequent the Ashrama and give a fillip to the Ashrama's cultural atmosphere with their presence and speeches. Inter-college and Inter-School debates and essay competitions were held during the year. |
